Who cares that it’s raining when the fat weight is going the right way: down ? I know I don’t.
Almost 2 lbs down in one week. Yes, I keep saying “don’t depend on the scales alone” and I don’t of course. My calipers indicated a drop of a little more fat then the scales, in other words I’ve added a morsel of lean mass this week.
How do I know added lean is muscle? Let me answer by asking you this: how do you propose to add organ- and bone-weight? In other words, whatever addition you get on the lean has to be muscle, ok?
I didn’t add much, just 9 grams! Then again, I didn’t see the inside of my gym this week, because I’m still coughing as soon as I move. However, I’ve had it with the gym-pause, next week I’m biting the iron again, for sure!
The main thing though, combining Jon Benson’s newest idea and his Every Other Day Diet with the Xooma supplements (yes, I’m making a fitness cocktail here) earned me a 1.8 pound drop in bodyfat. Adding the training back in next week will help keep that trend going.
3 more weeks of Xooma, and I’ll be sending in my after-pics. Should be interesting
Even during my non-training time I have still been doing things in the garden and around the house, which of course explains the small lean gains. But overall, I have stuck to the nutrition plan and the supplements, and there is definitely a change. Time will tell how I may place in the competition, and I will let you know when I know myself
